The Empordà sanctuary par excellence dating from the 17th century (1681). It was built on a masia farmhouse and the pre-existing chapel, with the donations from devout followers of the Mare de Déu d'Empordà. The sanctuary is located on a very wooded slope in the Vall de Santa Magdalena, 400 m high. It is one of the shrines with the highest following in the area and many guilds and institutions entrust themselves to the Mare de Déu each year ' the patron saint of sportsmen ' paying tribute.
