Church existent since the year 972. For its lateral position, on one side of the town, it was most likely added after the town centre of Sant Llorenç. The Romanesque temple was originally made up of three naves. Until it became the structure we see today, it suffered a long history of transformations, renovations and partial destructions: the left side nave is gone, the apse of the right nave is totally rebuilt and the façade is quite transformed and was added on after the original church. The area around the apse is now trimmed and offers access to La Muga and the small gardens outside the walls where the famous Sant Llorenç beans are cultivated.
