>MTB Trail 29: The trail of the Towns

 

 

Very interesting trail around the River Muga. Travel distance: 15.78 kilometres. Min. altitude: 64 metres, max.: 323 metres. Accum. upward slope: 468 metres, downward: 466 metres. Degree of difficulty:  Moderate. Finishes at starting point (circular): Yes. Itinerary: From Les Escaules we ascend to Can Vila de Subirats, passing by the Escaules castle. From there, we descend along the old road to Terrades. We cross the Palau woods until we reach the town of Palau-Surroca. From the Homes hills, we descend to the River Muga and from there we go back to Les Escaules.
